Malware: less, but more sophisticated

Although the total volume of malware detected decreased in 2019, the attacks were more sophisticated and successful, targeting mainly healthcare, state, provincial and local government.
SonicWall Capture Labs threat researchers recorded 9.9 billion malware attacks in 2019, a slight decrease of 6 % from the previous year.
