An important step was taken in 2014 with the majority takeover of the Upper Austrian IT company 4SYSTEMS GmbH. In 2019 4SYSTEMS was merged with ABAX.
In the same year, with the takeover of the software service provider LEROX Data Processing GmbH the next logical step to expand our portfolio set. By adding the topics Business Intelligence, Data Science and Data Analytics we can cover the entire range of modern IT infrastructure.
ABAX lives quality and work safety as they are an integral part of our projects and our internal working methods. Regular certifications according to ISO 9001 and SCC* by TÜV are proof of this.
ABAX has published its first sustainability report, creating a transparent basis for the further development of its sustainability activities.
The report follows the Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for small and medium-sized enterprises, known as VSME, which is recommended by the European Commission. It covers key topics such as energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, the circular economy, working conditions, occupational health and safety, information security, data protection and compliance.
The report focuses on specific key figures and measures. In 2025, operational Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions amounted to 0.79 tonnes of CO₂e per employee. Battery-electric vehicles account for 46% of the company fleet. At the same time, no workplace accidents were recorded across approximately 65,000 working hours. No information security incidents were reported either.
The report shows where we stand today and which goals we are pursuing. These include further reducing direct emissions from the vehicle fleet, maintaining the goal of zero workplace accidents and continuing to develop our information security processes as part of our preparations for ISO/IEC 27001.
For customers and business partners, the report provides a transparent source of information on ESG-related topics and helps meet the growing demand for reliable sustainability information throughout the supply chain.
