Don't forget security in IoT projects!

At our workshop on 22.11.2017 at IDC Austria we presented together with HUAWAI, IoT solutions for the industry. In direct contact with our experts, our participants had the opportunity to define generally applicable factors, which they can use as a starting point for creating their individual scenarios. Based on reference cases as well as experiences from projects, an overview of potentials and attack vectors was given in order to develop an understanding of security relevant topics.

Multiple IoT applications offer many opportunities for companies, such as opening up new business fields, improving services or increasing employee productivity by automating tasks. However, without adequate security measures, these optimizations are targets of cyber attacks.
