As a partner of SONICWALL we are pleased to make the latest European Cyber Threat Report available to all interested parties.

Contrary to general expectations, this report shows that malware and ransomware attacks are still on the rise.

In Europe, a plus of malware attacks of 23 % and worldwide even 33 % is listed.

Also the Ransomware volume increases is worrying the world over. Our German neighbours are the hardest hit. Only the United Kingdom and India are experiencing declines.

On the positive side, it is becoming apparent that security gaps such as Meltdown, Spectre and Co. can be stopped through early detection. However, the number of IoT attacks increased, as feared!
