Three becomes one: ABAX supports Austrian companies in the digital transformation with a new structure
The three IT companies ABAX, Lerox and 4Systems GmbH merge to form a new, powerful full-service IT provider: ABAX. With a service spectrum ranging from cabling and Big Data analysis to Internet of Things, ABAX supports companies with three locations in Austria to be prepared for the challenges of digitalization.
Austrian companies are increasingly faced with major challenges in the field of digitization. According to a study by the WKO* from 2018, measures such as the EU data protection regulation are leading to an increased focus on digitisation issues. At the same time, around a third of those surveyed cited lack of know-how on implementation, missing or difficult-to-define goals or too little information as the top challenges. Big Data, Internet of Things, Industry 4.0 and much more are topics that are increasingly occupying the domestic economy and urgently demand effective solutions. The discrepancy between actual exploitation and the potentials of digitisation, especially for SMEs, is coming to the fore.
Expert knowledge in projects
For a creative role in the digital change it is therefore necessary to fall back on expert knowledge in future-oriented projects in order to set positive accents and make companies fit for the future even with increasing complexity.
All in all, the need for efficient and innovative consulting and implementation partners with whom Austrian companies can tackle the challenges together is thus increasing.

Repositioning with comprehensive portfolio
With immediate effect there is a newly established full-service IT provider in Austria. With the merger of the three companies ABAX, Lerox and 4Systems to form the full-service provider ABAX, the latter is now optimally positioned to provide comprehensive support to domestic companies.
Gernot Huber, commercial managing director at ABAX, summarizes: "This repositioning enables us to offer our customers integrated services from a single source. Our many years of expertise in network and security coupled with the new impetus in the field of data analytics open up new opportunities for our customers to master the challenges of digitization.
ABAX as a fixed component of Roxcel
The Roxcel Trading Ltd. as a successful owner-managed and internationally active Austrian company, has held a stake of 50 % in ABAX since its foundation in 1995, the remaining 50 % are held by three operating shareholders. The second IT subsidiary of Roxcel, Lerox Datenverarbeitung GmbH, has now been merged with ABAX, as has the previous 100 % subsidiary, 4Systems GmbH in Traun. Thus, all IT topics were brought together under the newly established ABAX. This means that ABAX now operates with uniform systems and teams at a total of three locations in Vienna and Traun.
Starting with Cabling up to Big Data ABAX and its employees are now the central contact point for customers. The full-service portfolio as well as partnerships with leading manufacturers such as Juniper, Lenovo, Qlik Tech, Veeam, VMware, Microsoft and others guarantee solutions at the highest level.
